Whittier Car Rentals and Cruise Transfers

whittier-cruise-terminalPlanning on taking an Alaska cruise with Princess Cruises this summer and also renting a car from either Whittier or Anchorage?   We are currently offering a web special that includes a free motorcoach transfer to or from Whittier with the Park Connection, with a mail-in rebate, when you purchase your car rental through Alaska Tour & Travel.   A terrific savings due to the high cost of one-way rentals from Whittier, plus you get the free ship transfer and passes to the Anchorage Museum!

For embarking cruisers, the Park Connection Motorcoach departs Anchorage for Whittier from the Anchorage Museum at 3:00pm, arriving in Whittier at 5:00pm.  The Anchorage museum is located in downtown Anchorage at 625 “C” Street.  Be sure to drop your car off at the car rental agency early enough in the day to take advantage of our complimentary general admission passes to the Anchorage Museum  that we’ll provide to you once you arrive at the Anchorage Museum – to make it even more seamless, we’ve also arranged for the car rental agency to provide complimentary transfers to the Museum.

park-connection-museumFor disembarking cruisers, the Park Connection Motorcoach departs the Whittier Cruise Terminal at 9:45am, arriving at the Anchorage Museum at Noon.  The drive from Whittier to Anchorage is one of Alaska’s most scenic, and the driver will provide tour highlights along the way.  Anchorage Museum passes are complimentary and often, families will explore the museum while one member of their party takes the shuttle to pick up the rental car – we’ll watch your luggage while you explore the museum or pick up the car.
